With its roots in World War Two, Ergonomics has developed from redesigning aircraft cockpit controls to a scientific tuning of our work practices and environments to match our physical capabilities and limitations.
In this module, we'll look at the causes and symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders and describe how good ergonomic practices can protect muscles, spinal discs, ligaments, nerves and tendons.
